What is Rudram 11?

 

The Rudram 11 is a prayer for global peace and harmony. It purifies the environment through the powerful and universal vibrations that emanate from the sounds of the hymns known as the Vedas and in particular the Sri Rudram chant.

During Rudram 11, the Sri Rudram is chanted 11 times for world peace and harmony. The exponential vibrations and positive energy generated locally will have a ripple effect globally to fill all the beings in all the worlds with the divine love and light

What are the Vedas and in Particular Sri Rudram?

 

The Vedas are divine knowledge or awareness. These hymns raise the self-awareness of an individual for practical living with character building in accordance with community and Mother Nature. The principles of service, adoration and illumination are the core of these hymns, that are timeless in existence​​.

The Sri Rudram is part of the vedas, found in the Krishna Yajur Veda within the Taittiriya Samhita

The Benefits of Chanting Sri Rudram

By chanting something as powerful as the Sri Rudram, once can do immense benefit to the world. The elements, the water we drink and the air we breathe is polluted today. Rudram chanting can rectify the damage humanity has done to these entities. The Sri Rudram has also has various personal benefits. Ancient texts and modern experiences alike highlight its benefits:

  2. Mental Clarity: The mantra’s vibrations foster inner peace and reduce stress.

The Vedas are a gift of God for the welfare of the entire humanity. The Vedas make no distinction on the basis of religion, caste or nationality. The Veda mantras can be chanted by one and all.
